Hi all,
We are getting married at paphos town hall in Oct 2010.We are arriving 2wks previous to try and find a place with lovely views and good food where we can take our friends .16 people in total,and are all paying for themselves so want to make sure we all sit together and have a special time .
We would like to organise a cake and any recommendations would be appreciated for both .

For restaurants with a view,the seagull, close to the harbour, or the rear terrace at Sienna
for cakes, maybe ask on one of teh forums, Cyprus living or Paphos people.

If you want good views and good honest Cypriot Food then try Yialos which is right by the sea down past Coral Bay, it is on this site so read the reviews. I think it is a very special place, if you let the owner know it's a wedding party she will set the tables together and make it special. Go at night for really spectacular sunsets, very romantic.For your cake try Morrellos {as in cherry} although most bakeries in Cyprus do beautiful cakes. Hope you have a good time.

I am local so i will not sugest the standard touristic areas.
First of all where will you stay?
Depending on the hotel (usually october is a good season and you may find good deals for you and your guests) you might find a good idea to make your dinner and rest of the party on the beach,or at the pool, or get on one of the boats and make the party in the sea,
Hotel kinyras is another option uptown paphos where you might find a desend accommodation and really good food in a beautifull closed yard.
