Excellent Authentic Meze

Tried this Restaurant in the new year as many of my favourites had shut for the season.We arrived at 8:15 pm and there was only 2 people in the restaurant,however by 9:00pm it was totally full and everyone bar us was Cypriot.They also had Music on.They were doing "Meze only" at €20 inc a 2 euro cover charge for the music and that was explained as we entered the restaurant.Now to the food.It was simply the most authentic Meze ive had including such things as Fresh vegtables and salads,snails,liver,Thick Lounza and Hollumi ,not the thin stuff usually served up,and a couple of things im not sure what they were!Although this was the most Authentic meze ive had i still think the BEST meze i had during our stay Goes to FETTAS However this was Excellent and will definitely be on my list for the next visit.The house wine was very good, and the service excellent especially as it was completely full while other tavernas around had at best 10 customers..

Ate here in New year twice and found the food and service excellent.Especially as on one evening the restaurant was full.I loved the stilton chicken as did my other half,the deserts were also particularly good especially the crepe.Wine was also good.recommended.

First class Fish

Went here for lunch at the end of april and i had the red snapper which was first class and perfectly cooked.My other half had chicken as she doesnt eat fish and she was delighted with her meal.our two friends also had lovely fish meals.Service was good and there were a lot of locals eating(always a good sign)Prices were reasonable.The salad was not as good as the one i had at Othellos the night before.The last time i ate here was over a year ago and looking at the reviews it looks as if it went downhill and hopefully is on its way up again!

Top class Excellent Restaurant

This is the best eating experience i have found anywhere in Paphos.Worth the trip up to the old town,this restaurant is a cut above the rest.Wonderful meze unusual things like couscos and a spinich egg mix type dish which was full of taste.First class service and resonably priced.The wine list is also excellent and has many wines not seen in other restaurants.The Kalamos Rose was amazing.Wise to book in advance and dont turn up in shorts n tshirts straight from the beach as you might find the restaurant "full"Has outside seating next to the fountain in summer but watch out for the cats if your outside.A top class restaurant.

Very nice food,the herring with vodka really nice,the service was excellent.And my other half said it was the best chicken she had tasted.A little bit expensive for quantity served but would go again.

Visited here a few weeks ago and had as good a Jalfrazi as ive had anywhere.Service was excellent as well. Lacked atmosphere as there was only a few people in it,but dont let that put you off as having tried most of the Indians in Paphos at one time or another , i think this is the best.

Othellos consistantly good

Thought it about time i reviewed one of my favourite reataurants in Paphos.Ive been eating here for a number of years and the food has always ben consistantly GREAT!Very well run and the same chef since it opened 10 years ago.The meze is one of the best,the suckling pig outstanding and they even do homemade sauted potatoes.Prices reasonable.Located next to the Neuraus Hotel.Do give it a try.
