Visited Scorpios for the first time last week. We will be going back. The hosts are genial and the atmosphere is good. Laid back and relaxed - nothing is too much trouble.

Far superior in all aspects to its more famous (hyped) neighbour, Fat Mommas.
Plentiful meals, well prepared and served. Nothing was too much trouble. Don't know why people bother to queue for the mediocre stuff further up the block!

over-rated....

Went there for a family celebration - it had been pre-booked so there shouldn't have been many problems. WHAT A SHAMBLES! The restaurant was over-crowded and understaffed. There was not enough room to push the chairs back from the tables to stand or sit without a struggle.
A meat meze had been ordered in advance but we were served fish - major error! Most people didn't eat it. My youngest son asked for a different meal and it was obvious that it was frowned on - although it was reluctantly produced. Eventually, some meat dishes did arrive but only very few.
OVER-RATED, OVER-PRICED, OVER-CROWDED AND UNDERSTAFFED.

I feel that I should point out that the meal is a meze and so should be eaten leisurely and sociably...not shovelled down to keep ahead of the race!
We have eaten, with our Greek relatives, at this excellent taverna. I cannot recommend it highly enough - the food is good, the service is excellent and the atmosphere is certainly convivial. I particularly enjoyed the dessert meze......WONDERFUL

waste of time and food!

Why people queue to eat at this restaurant is beyond me. There are far better places providing just as much "entertainment" and much better food. This is typical "tourist tat". We visit Paphos regularly as we have family there and, I have to say, Fats is terribly over-rated. You can get the same at any seaside resort in UK - and the total waste of food is horrendous. Frankly, the only persons seeming to use this facility are tourists - I doubt if the Cypriots would bother.
