Don't be put off by the photo, it's way out of date. This is now an excellent restaurant that serves fine food at a very competitive price, especially when you consider its prime location. Service is superb, and you won't find better fish courses anywhere in the area. Do try the grilled bream...it's pure perfection on a plate!

2 light meals (BLT and a 'local' breakfast) here set us back €4.50 per head, the taste was good and some effort was made to present the food, but the portions were small which reduces the value for money. The picture in the directory is out of date as the place has had a very good refurbishment reducing the 'tack level' somewhat. Best points, and the reasons we go here, is the kids ball pen/climbing frame plus the close proximity to the coastal path and the harbour.

This restuarant has gone down in value for money and quality of every day food since it was closed for almost 9 months for refurbishment at the beginning of 2008. It now produces food which is more suitable for a high quality hotel than a seafront restaraunt and emphasises on dressing up the food more than the quality and value.

The Moorings remains one of my favourite lunchtime restaurants. The view's are amazing as well as the good food. Staff are friendly and polite. Definitely worth a visit.

Been coming here for a while so most of the staff know us- but they are always friendly and not too pushy- if you just want a drink they won't push a menu towards you like some places seem to.
Lunches are very good value and the food is very fresh.
What can I say? Give it a try :)
