Great Steaks

Fabulous steaks cooked at your table served with mouth watering sauces to your individual taste. The staff are extremely helpful, explaining what is being added to your individual dish as its being cooked.
We now visit the Flambe every time we're in Cyprus.

Better Than Expected

We visited this restaurant after being told that it was good.
The initial greeting was a bit of a surprise as the manager was a bit grumpy. We were given a good table & the menu was quite delicious.
Three of us had the flambe food & it was superb.
The chefs who cooked at the table were really nice & asked how you wanted everything cooked. There was nothing to fault with the food at all.
It was just a shame that the service didn't come with many smiles!

Great experience

This restaurant looks rather unappealing from the outside but dont let that put you off as the food is very good.
We both chose from the flambe menu and it was brilliant to have them cooked at our table. They were very tasty and well cooked. The service was also good and the waiters were very helpful.
We would reccommend to everyone who wishes to have a unique dining experience although it is quite pricey.

I reviwed this restaurant a few years ago and wanted to revist with my parents. We were still impressed with the food. The outside of the place is still very uninviting and the decor inside is wanting - wilting spindly ivy on the walls!
However, the food more than makes up for it.
After our first visit we all opted for flambe. Service was prompt and attentive without being overpowering and the flambe cooked at your table is a must.
Don't bother with any other meal just do the flambe!
The price is a little more than some other restaurants on Bar Street but you get what you pay for. My partner had the steak flambe and it was melt in the mouth! Price is about €24 for the steak but it is well worth it. Plenty of fresh veg and the jacket potatoes are great.
My parents insist that they will be coming back in September and every time they visit.

Excellent steaks

We were tipped off to go here by a local guy we know, we've passed it many times but didn't go in until last month. I thought the table cooking would be gimmicky but it was superb, 2 of us had steaks and they were cooked to perfection in a spicy sauce, impossible for it to come any fresher, the steak was tender and the size of the steaks good. My wife had a strogonoff again cooked at the table and she found the quality to also be good, definitely worth a visit, prices were par for the course for Cyprus 2009 60-70 euros including wine for 3, no desserts though!

"Great Steaks"

"Want a really good steak?"
Friends on holiday found this one two years ago, we went then & last week they were here again so we ate there again.
The Steaks cooked at the table are excellent, but the service was a little slow (the place was not half full) but don't let that put you off!

Superb Flambe food

When visiting the Flambe, have a Flambe meal! This is their speciality and they do it superbly well. Personally, I always go for the speciality of the restauarant; be it fish, meze or in this case Flambe. This is undoubtably one of the very best restaurants in Paphos.

My partner and i go to paphos twice a year and always make a point of eating here. Flambes all the way cooked at the table are all top notch, waiters are all really friendly and attentive. cant really fault the place

I need to explain that I only visited this restaurant once and I didn't eat from the Flambe menu that this particular establishment has apparently built its reputation. However, my partner and I decided to eat some traditional Cypriot dishes and sadly have to say we were disappointed. The accompanying salad was tired and wilted, the bread was unremarkable especially when compared with the offering from Zaza or the Colosseum. Our starter was a shared platter of Cypriot starters served with some pitta bread - it was pleasant enough but was no match for the same dish we had been served the night before at Zaza. My girlfriend had a chicken kebab for mains served with rice and another serving of tired salad. The dish was bland and very tasteless. I sampled the local Cypriot sausages and while it was good, once again it wasn't anything I would rave about. Admittedly, we were surrounded by people who were eating Flambe and it appeared to be popular, maybe we simply made the wrong choice but we weren't convinced by this place. We decided to leave after our mains, deciding to pay up and move onto a bar to salvage our evening.

You have got to go to Flambe!!!!

This is such a great restaurant. The experience of watching your food being cooked right in front of you is a nice change, but we'd go here anyway because the food is so damn good! The beef stroganoff is to die for, so tasty that you will go on eating it even after you are full! Definitely advisable to book, as we've seen queues out of the door waiting to get in. Looks a bit scruffy from the outside but appearances can be deceptive. Can imagine it would be unbearably hot in the height of summer, with all those flames shooting up everywhere but we've been in March and September and it's been fine then. A must.

Best restaurant in Paphos

This is by far my favorite restaurant in Paphos and I have eaten here over a dozen times. I tried all the Flambe dishes and a few others. The Kerry special and the Pork (maison) are my favorites, but all dishes are great.
The fact that you get to influence the ingredients and have a bit of excitement by your table just adds to your pleasure. I do think they need to introduce a third kart (to cook for 4) because sometimes the waiting time can be long, but also because if you are with a group the time difference between the first eaters and the last to be served becomes unacceptable.
This restaurant would stand out in food quality anywhere in the world. I have travelled to over 60 countries, o I think I can m,ake this statement. For Paphos it is a little pricey, but in International terms it is reasonably priced. Worth the money though as I have never been disappointed.
One bit of advice for Kerry, is that he should add some special dishes to the starters and desserts. They are generally very good, but don't stand out from the other places. A nice 'Flambe Sabayon' as dessert would be great as an example.
Really if you want good food in paphos, this is the place to go

I love this place!
Dont let the exterior fool you, the food is delicious.First tried Flambe back in 2004 when we first moved over here and have been many times since.
Used to have peppered steak every visit but have branched out and Im now a steak diane devotee. Ive also tried a mixed grill(only for the very hungry), beef stroganoff and a Kerrys special - all of these are wonderful tasty dishes and with the Flambe meals you get to choose more or less of any ingredient... my personal favourite(to the other halfs dismay) is extra extra garlic.
Not the cheapest of "tourist area" restaurants but the food is worth paying that bit extra for, the service great and booking is advisable year round.
My favourite Paphos restaurant!

We were pleased we had seen the great reviews on this site as from the outside it does not look particularly nice and I'm sure we would otherwise have walked straight past. The only indication of the delights to come is the fact that the restaurant is invariably busy. As the food is cooked at the tables the smells are amazing and your mouth waters as you await your turn. We ordered the Kerry's Special and the pepper steak - the first flamed in sherry to give it an ever so slightly sweet taste and the latter with brandy. The fillet steaks were generous in size and beautifully tender and both sauces were delicious. Considering the quality of the meat we were very satisfied that we had had really good value for money and will return to try something else from the menu next time we are in Paphos.

Didn't go in this restaurant the first few times we came to Paphos as it looked like one of those typical tourist spots but I'm glad we did. The food was excellent and the service spot on. In our party of 4 everyone enjoyed their meal and said they would go back. the flambe at your table is especially good as you can see your food is cooked freshly. One of the few restaurants that is full even out of season.

One of our favourite restaurants, have been several times. Sorry, I can only comment on the Kerry Special steak which is so wonderful that I cannot persuade myself to order anything else. However, friends who have joined us have had fish, chicken, pork and plain steaks, and everyone has always finished with the comment 'fabulous meal' Kerry is welcoming and his plentiful staff are friendly and efficient. The Flambe dishes are extremely popular so you do have to wait when they are busy, which is practically all the time, but the best is always worth waiting for.
