What a surprise!

I was the successful bidder at a Rock FM auction for Sunday dinner for 2 here so went along last month with a friend. I didn't know what to expect as I hadn't met anyone who'd ever eaten there! Anyway to say I was surprised was an understatement! The food was delicious, the service very attentive and the singer was melodious without being too intrusive!
There was a choice of 4 or 5 starters I think, but we went straight to the main courses. I have never ordered roast beef before on a Sunday and been asked how I wanted it cooked - I don't order it as it's generally a bit too well done for me but I actually had some beautifully cooked rare roast beef!
There was also slow roasted lamb shanks, pork etc all accompanied with a side order of lovely vegetables and an individual jug of gravy!
I love my puddings so chose a Bailey's Irish Cream cheesecake which was very nice but needed more Bailey's as the cream cheese overpowered it somewhat!
I am not sure of the prices because as I mentioned previously I bid for it at a charity auction but I am sure they would be reasonable as the people seemed nice and it was busy with expats!
