bit of a let down

Peach Blossom was supposed to be a nice dinner for me and my girlfriend, however turned out to a nothing short of bad.
After good reviews from friends, we thought we would give it a go. It looked pleasant enough when we walked in, but when the food came - a few beers later - we were stopped short: my beef and black bean sauce looked oddly similar to my girlfriends chicken and cashew.
I had no idea a beef dish could look like a chicken dish!
When the bill came, I wondered if I could trade in my liver - im sure they could make it look like pork.

Poor and slow

Stopped in for a take away. Was told about 20 to 25 minutes. It was 50!!! And then not that good really.
The staff were helpful , bit of a chat and a drink while I waited. If they had said that long I wouldnt have waited, but it was always just another 5 minutes.
As for the food, it was Ok but not brilliant. Other places give better for less cost.
The inside looked really good but as I wasnt impressed with the food I dont think I will venture in

Pretty average and rather expensive

I have visited the Peach Blossom a few times since 2005 and have really found this place to be in decline. In 2005 the food was good, the restaurant busy anjd the atmossphere great. By 2007 however the food is at best average, overpriced and the restaurant is mostly empty.
This restaurant must urgently re-invent itself or go down. Prices for similar food in the UK, Ireland, Germany etc are less than half what is charged here. It is 'take-away' style food. There is no imagination or special dishes and the food tastes bland. Obviously they are saving money on using spices.

We ate here last year we were seated outside and felt a little uncomfotable as there was space inside . The staff stood beside us all through the meal we had bottles of water and as soon as we had a sip the staff filled your glass up felt a little intimidated. Had the set menu which wasnt wonderful and quite expensive. Wouldnt go again.

A truly Asian dining experience

Hard to fault this place.Friendly staff,nice decor and fantastic food from all over Asia creates an all round winner.The sushi was particularly good,with fresh and clean flavours that just danced on your taste buds just before melting,recommended to the more adventurous diner. The won ton soup deserves a mention,again made with fresh dumplings and pac choi in a well flavoured stock was the perfect beginning to any meal,as could be said of the egg drop soup, also a tasty starter.When it comes to Thai curries my girlfriend and I were plesantly suprised to find that they were just like they make in Thailand.That is to say that it had a proper curry sauce and not a gloopy mess as is the case sometimes,with just enough chilli as to warm the palate and not burn the throat,perfect. Then to finish I can also rave about the deep fried banana. Now,that I'm back home it seems to me the only way I want to eat one.So folks do yourselves a favour,if you like food with an asian twist,DO NOT miss this opportunity to dine in one of the finest resturants in Pafos,with a nice cosy atmosphere and staff with a warm sincere welcome.
