Cheap and cheerfull food

You cannot knock the food, buy one get one free sunday lunch at 9.95 euros.
Also went on a week day and the food was very good for the price.
Drinks are also reasonable for tomb of the kings area.
Nice people and good service.
Good music.
The only let down is because it was cold all the windows and doors were shut and the place was packed. Now we don't normally mind smoke but this reminded us of a working mens club back in the 70s.
No doubt it will be better when the warmer weather allows ventilation.

Sunday Lunch at 'The Prince'

Recommend 'Sunday Lunch' at "The Prince" at the moment Lesley is doing Two, yes Two, Two course meals for Euro 9.95. We went last Sun Lunch and had 1 Roast Beef & Yorks Pud, 1 Roast chicken (breast's) with Roast Potatoes, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Carrots and gravy followed by 1 Apple crumble & Custard & 1 Bread & Butter pudding and cream!! all for Euro 9.95. Brilliant!! going again and all ready booked for this weekend!!

Good Roast Dinner

Took some friends here for Sunday lunch, having heard good things about it, and must say was not disappointed. We had 2 roast chicken and 2 beef dinners, plenty of meat, yorkshire pudding, lots of veg, all cooked nicely. Dessert was included, we had sticky toffee pudding, apple crmble and bread butter pudding, served with cream. Delicious, for the money, 9.95 for 2 courses, plus buy one get one free!. Would definitely go back for a roast, nothing fancy but a friendly welcoming place.
