Good restaurant worth a visit

Harmony was a restaurant I passed many times, but had never eaten before, so we decided to visit this August.
I must say that in General I was pleasantly surprised as the food overall was excellent and the price for a bottle of wine was very reasonable.
We ordered the Meze, which was a meat Meze and the Stifado and Souvla they served was excellent. definitely among the best I have had in Cyprus. My girlfriend may be small, but she is a reasonable eater and I was surprised that the Meze was barely enough food for us. There were 2 obvious dishes missing being Sieftalia and Keftedes, but Mezes of course by their nature differ between restaurants. We had ordered Advocado with prawns in addition and also ordered an extra village salad as we only received a very small salad for the 2 of us. Usually I dont have to order any extras with a Meze and even though correct I was a bit surprised to see an extra charge for a village salad on the bill at the end of the meal. We spend generously ordering 1 bottle and 2 glasses of wine as well as juice and water. the bill came to about 75 Euro.
Overall it was a pleasant experience and I would visit again

We were 4 cypriots and we asked for 2 mezes and salads. The owner refused to provide us with food and suggested us to leave cause as he said it was not worth to cook 2 mezes ( cypriot dish).Unbelievable!!!!:( Thank got not all restaurants are worlking like this but indeed its acreates bad reputation for our island.

Excellent restaurant!!

We always visit Harmony several times when we stay in Paphos, it is our favourite restaurant. The food is always excellent (especially the stifado) and you always receive a warm welcome from Stavros and Georgia. The prices are very competitive and the atmosphere is always relaxed and you are never rushed. Any friends we have taken there have always agreed it was the best meal they had had in Paphos. We are looking forward to going back again in August. We would thoroughly recommend you to try it.

Faultless Restaurant

We went there 3 times over 2 weeks. I like to sample good local produce, well executed with a nod to traditional cooking. This fulfilled my expectations and aspirations. I had the lamb kleftico, I dare anyone complain about it, it was superb, similarly with the beef stifado. The fish also measured up. It is getting harder and harder to find local restaurants of this calibre, it was head and shoulders above any other restaurants we visited over the two weeks. My first time to Cyprus and if I go back Harmony will definitely be on my restaurant list.

A nice place to visit. Simple and tasty food served by friendly and efficient staff. One has a feeling of being in an honest restaurant. It offers very good value for money. In comparison to other tavernas/ international restaurants it ranks as one of the better ones. Its location is great. The grills are simply done, fish is tasty and salads are great, nice fat chips are a delight.
Good experience overall. Much better than so many of the phoney restaurants around. I have been there several times and will return

TASTELESS

My brother suggested we go there when he visited as they do kids food, there was plenty of our choice on the plate, not very appetizing, covering things in a tepid sauce supposed to be pepper not acceptable.
Definately a tourist place for food, have not gone back and do not intend to either.

We have a home in Cyprus so come over 3 or 4 times a year for a few weeks at a time with our two kids and sometimes extended family. We eat out every day (sometimes twice) so have got to know some of the best and worst over the past few years.
We live within walking distance of here so it should be one of our local venues.
The only and last time we ate here, we were served up fillst steak which was probably brisket or some other cheap cut of beef. The portions were tiny, and the bill extortionate.
It seems like customers vote with their feet as it is usually empty.

A Really Nice Meal

My Wife and I have stayed at the Golden beach hotel just over the Road from Harmony's 5 times now over the last few years and decided to go Harmony's for a meal, I must say we were greeted by the guys and felt really welcolm' we had a brilliant meal and have to say we had the best meal we have ever had in cyprus & the Price was only 50 euros includeing the wine & Beer' We will be going there on October the 4th as we had such a good meal there in June & It Is Our Wedding Aniversiary.
I would say to anyone to go there as the food is really really nice - You are not Hurried at all and will have a great time.

Great welcome every time

We go to Harmony every time we are in Paphos & we always get a great welcome from Stavros & Georgia. The food is excellent every time we go & we are really looking forward to eating there again in June. We have taken all ages & everyone says that the menu is really good with a great choice. I was surprised to read the other comments as we have never had a bad meal or poor service in the 5 years that we have been going there.

not sure what happened to the other reviewers, but as a table of 6 we had no complaints at all about this place. we loved the menu, The owner Stavros could not have been more attentive and the food was cooked to perfection by Georgia his wife - maybe it was their night off when the others went in???? and the biggest plus of all - they do decent filter coffee- not nescafe!!!have you ever tried to get a decent coffee in Paphos? my chicken with peaches and cheese was fantastic!!
that said the restaurant is quite out of the way but if you find yourself out there - give it a go

Had we reviewed Harmony after our first visit, we would have said that it had been a really enjoyable experience, good food, service etc. In fact it was good enough to return, and we did 2 weeks later.
Unfortunately the second time, although the service was acceptable, the food was less than palatable. It left us wondering...which was typical....were we incredibly lucky the first time, or did they have a rare 'off' night???!!

The microwaved slimy chicken breast would probably haved been inedible anyway but in order to ensure total inedibility some horrible gelatinous sauce had been placed on top. And a helping of second rate chips. Yum yum.
