Excellent

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
This was the first time we have eaten in a Mexican restaurant so we ordered the Mexican Meze and it was fantastic.Nachos with melted cheese a selection of dips and then different types of wraps filled with different stuff.Hahaha, I don't know the names of anything but we washed it all down with a couple of beers and a bottle of wine, oh, and complimentary Tequilas
All the while Mexican music was being played, it was quite busy and I can uunderstand why because the service was excellent and the food was first class.
One minor complaint is that the tables are all tiled and one or two tiles aare cracked which doesn't look too good but all in all, I loved it.

Lovely food

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
I loved Dos Pesos, but personally I found it a little expensive. My mum had chicken Fajitas which looked good, but only came with 3 tortillas and I personally can eat 4, but I'm a pig! I had chicken Flautos which were superb. I've never been a huge fan of mexican food as it can be stodgy but this was so tasty. My course was about 11 euros, but mums was 17.00 euros. As the food is quite heavy, most people would probably only need 1 course so it keeps the prices down, but the drinks were quite expensive. We couldn't manage any, but the desserts looked good and were very reasonably priced. The tiled tables and mexican music playing in the background added a lot of atmosphere, which is sadly lacking in so many restaurants in Paphos. I will definitely be going back when I'm in the mood for something different to eat.

Can't wait to go back!

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
Have been going to Paphos for last 4 years and every time have to go back to Dos Pesos. Visited twice on our last holiday.

Good atmosphere, good mix of tourists and locals and friendly staff.

Had nachos, 2 main courses and 2 large keos for less than 40 euros. They give you a free shot of tequila while you're paying the bill.

Can say enough how this place is value for money. Try the Cantias!

And the cocktail list is impressive too!

Great Mexican food in Paphos!

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful
The food here is great, the margaritas are great. This restaurant is just great Mexican food in Paphos. Being American and living in Paphos I'm so glad that it is here to fix my Mexican cravings. The wait staff is very attentive and helpful also.

Great Mexican food

3 of 3 people found the following review helpful
We visited Casa Mexicana twice on our stay in Cyprus, the food is excellent! There is a lovely atmosphere, it's like a little piece of Mexico hiding in Greece. The service was excellent, we particularly like the lovely lady with the american accent (sorry don't know her name). She was very helpful and turned down the fan for us and gave us extra chillies and was really friendly. We would definitely recommend a visit.

Mezecan !

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
Having driven past this place many times over the last few years, it seems continually busy so after seeing a packed out Friday night recently we popped in their last night. I like the themed decor, the seemingly random table arrangement and the ceramic tile table tops is pretty unique, as is visiting the toilets by way of a large yellow telephone box. This is a place to feel comfortable dining in shorts and shirt. We skipped starters and went straight into a Mexican style meze consiting of Cheese topped Nachos + dips, Flautas, Chimichangas, Quesadillas and finished with Fajitas (beef+chicken mixed), all the dips and salads are freshly home made but the salsa+guacamole are not as "aggressive" as i have eaten before. All this was washed down with a few imported mexican beers and followed by a fantastic baked cheesecake. Only downside is that some of the many waiting staff are a little shy and when talking to us we couldn't hear/understand what they said. The "meze", desert and a few drinks hit the pocket to the value of €25. All in all most enjoyable, and would certainly be more than happy to revisit.

Great family meal

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
Ate here with friends who were over on holiday. The waitress was friendly and accommodating, even providing smaller versions of adult meals for the kids when there was nothing they fancied on the kids menu. The enchiladas negritas with chocolate chilli sauce was superb. It was a great, affordable meal, we will return!

Yum Yum

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful
I'm a big fan of Mexican food and drink and having been to Mexico last October thought it would be good to go and have some whilst on holiday again. We weren't disappointed. The nachos and melted cheese, salsa dips etc were delicious and the strawberry daquiri jug went down a treat. We all tried something different and there wasn't a scrap left on any of our plates. This restaurant comes highly recommended and the staff really seem happy to oblige.

Good Mexican (but lacks spice)

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful
Having been a reglar visitor to Mexico as well as the US States closest to it, I must say that this restaurant serves very excellent and quite authentic Mexican food. Regretfully they dumbed down, because the food could really do with some more spice. Mexican food should be hot and I think the restaurant should realise that not all are ageing Brits whose idea of a great dinner is fish and chips. Maybe they should just ask the customer if they want it 'HOT'; or not.

I had an excellent chowder hre and the Fajitas were well cooked. I also like the Nacho starter. The latter is not suitable as fingerfood though.

All in all I like this place and it is a pity that so few people visit here, as the restaurant deserves better.

Good Mexican

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful
We visit this restaurant regularly when we are in Paphos - the food is good with a better than average choice of Mexican dishes. My husband loves the Margueritas and the chilli - everything is tasty and freshly prepared. The friendly waitress works hard to keep everyone happy and the proprietor will occasionally lend a hand if things get too busy.

Best Mexican in Paphos

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful
Visited in April 06.

Every time we tried to return in Apr 07 it was shut, very disapointing.

Much nicer Mexican than the one in Paphos's bar district.

Friendly staff and good value for money.

Food very authentic and the Tequilla went down very well.
